Hi all,
I may be asking for something that isn't possible or should be in an alternative forum.
I have lots of periodicals as PDf's sitting in my windows home server, all around 100MB in size that I want to read now and again on my ipad. I can file explore to the shared folder they are on, or log into the server via there web browser and download the PDFs but they take an age to download.
Is there a method people have found where they can use the host or server computer to do the grunt work and just 'render' the PDF on the ipad rather than download it? Note this would all be done within my home network which the server and ipad all sit on.
I'm sort of doing this by Remote Desktop on the ipad to the server, but it's a bit cumbersome.
Thanks all.
