Know this isn't exactly a revelation! But just got back from a 2 week holiday, involving 9 flights and a fair bit of downtime at airports waiting for transfers.
It is the first holiday where I've taken the iPad along, and it really is just perfect for it. Loaded it up with films, TV shows, books, games. Never had a dull moment, made travelling so much better.
Battery life is superb, so portable, goes through security scanners, it quickly became my very own in-flight entertainment...
Also noticed just how many other travellers had iPads too! Over the next 2 years, expect to see a lot more daily commuters with iPad Minis. Good stuff.
