ipad : photo query

I've had no problems to take pictures or to make videos with my ipad until now.
However, now when I press "photos" I get all the pictures I have taken and I don't know what to do to go back to the place where I can take pictures.:
Can someone help please

Switch to the Places view if you want to see the images taken at some place. (Assuming GPS was on.)

The Photos app is for viewing Photos. You might want to try the Camera app instead
