Anyone know what I can do to fix an issue displaying photos on a projector using an iPad.

If I copy the photos into a Keynote (power point) presentation, they display fine, look great and the aspect ratio stays perfect. However, if I use the built in slide show/photo app, they crunch down into 4:3 aspect ratio and thus do not appear correctly.

There are no settings to correct within the application which stinks and since they display fine when copied to a presentation, it's not the projector.

Why is this ?

How do you connect to the projector?

VGA adapter cable. iPad v1 so if there's a better way, let me know.

I'm wondering if the projector has to squish it because the iPad is not 16x9?

If I copy the images into Keynote they show fine and look great. It's only if I use the built in Photo app that they appear like crap via VGA.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

Hmm I'll think somemore.

Thanks! There seem to be a number of apps that can help display web pages but what about other stuff through the VGA? Narrowing them down is tough. Especially since I'm not really interested in dropping $3-$5 a pop to try them.
