iPad pics camera roll vs album

is there a way to group all pictures under one umbrella on the iPad?

pics taken from the camera stay in the camera roll.
pics i sync to the ipad stay in the iPad album.

can i combine the two and have just under one album?

just to confirm, pics i take in with the camera i can delete right away.
pics i transfer/sync to the iPad can only be deleted by un-syncing them on the computer, right?

If you are on the Albums page, just touch Photos, at the top to the left of Albums, and you'll see every photo on your iPad, no matter what its source.
