Why do I have to tap the screen 3times then swipe to the right to get
The outgoing phone dialer to come up on iPad ios 8 wifi connect to iphone?

Just kidding...all the show and presentation of the new iOS and iPhones
Were great and done with class, but this is where we really miss Steve
jobs...

I live in the hills and use a repeater for my iPhone at home. so now I
Can just leave the iPhone by the repeater and use my iPad on wifi.

Great idea they had to get this working, but Steve Jobs would have
Used his intuitive logic and said...guys where the dialer...

Hitting a contact is great but finish the job and build the dialer and come
Back and see me....

That's what is not replaceable... Stevie's intuitive logic...
That's what made the iPhone great....
Wonder if they will ever figure this one out

There is a dialer. It's in FaceTime. Open it on your pad. Below the area that says Video/Audio is a search box. Enter in what ever number you want, then click the phone icon to the right.

I still think though it should be like the phone interface that comes up when you dial a contact... The FaceTime works but it is more conveluted to use
The keyboard numbers... I would love to hit a phone icon and have the phone in my face on the iPad.....again thank you and good sleuthing on your part
