Later this week i'll be getting my iPad which was bought in the US so it comes with the US style USB power adapter.

I live in Europe and already own 2 USB power adapters the first is the old style one that i used for my iPod video which had the slideable plug to change for different countries.

The second i have came with my iPhone 3GS and is a more simply British plug which the US plugs into.

Will these work for charging my iPad???

I know on the Apple Store they dont list the iPad as a compatible device but im wondering if this is to force you to buy the 6foot (1.8M) long power cord
