iPad presentation with Keynote

I am going to be doing a presentation next week. I would like to use my iPad to do the presentation with using keynote.

My question is, is there a way to use the apple remote with the iPad? Or an app for the iphone to control keynote to change slides?

I'm not sure about the answer but... make sure your presentation works on the iPad before committing to that as a solution.

I had googled it but i tend to trust the responses in here more and most of the articles were quite old. But thanks for your helpful response.
