I recently purchased my 11" iPad Pro (2020) alongside with the Pencil. So far the experience has been pretty good since my iPad before this was the Air 2.

One thing that I notice when I tried to access Instant Notes feature by tapping the screen (when off) with the Pencil, the Notes app opens in "light mode" with light background for a millisecond before going dark. Just want to know if anyone else experiences this on their iPad Pro as well? I wish the Notes app opens in dark mode with dark background immediately as the way screen flashes from light to dark background kinda bothers me a bit.

FYI I have Dark Mode turned on and I am on iOS 13.5.1.

Im glad that I'm not the only one who is driven crazy by that. It hurts my eyes!

Thanks guys - glad to know this does not only happen on my iPad. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Notes app but unfortunately it did not fix this issue.

Hopefully someone at Apple sees this thread and fix it in the next update 🤞🏻

Happy to report that the issue is gone with iPadOS 14!
