iPad iPad Pro 12’9 shuts itself down when cover closes

Anyone here has this peculiar bug that when closing the cover with apple’s iPad folio, the iPad shuts itself down instead of going to sleep. Doesn’t happen all the time though. It only started to happen after beta 3 and unfortunately happens more often with beta 4. Restored all the settings, but that didn’t make any difference. Any suggestions?

Problem solved
Performed ‘reset all settings’ followed by resetting network connections, toggled behaviour of cover on and off and all is good now
