Hey guys.

I have an issue with my 11” iPad Pro connecting to my Dell U2718Q monitor.

when I did it back in iOS 12 there was no issue at all. Since upgrading to iOS 13, every time I try to connect, the ipad reboots. But before doing so, it’s shows the picture from the iPad correctly on the monitor for about 2 seconds. It does so in a endless loop, until disconnecting the cable

i am using a DisplayPort to USB-C cable. I tested on another monitor (LG) using the same cable, and there was no problem at all. So it would seem that there all of the sudden are a compatibility issue with my dell monitor and the iPad .

anyone had the same issue or know how to fix it?
With the upcoming trackpad possibilitie, an external monitor to the ipad seems even more functional, why I really want to fix the problem.

I have an LG 27UL600 4K monitor which like yours is a 4K monitor. When I hook up my 2018 iPad Pro to the DisplayProt via the same kind of USB-C to DisplayPort cable, it displays, but colors are way too vivid. If I connect to the HDMI slot with a USB-C to HDMI adaptor everything looks fine (wish though that Apple would provide 16 x 9 support). The same Displayport cable works just fine with my 15 inch MacBook Pro. The cable purports to support Thunderbolt 3, which of course is what the MacBook uses and the iPad does not support. Wonder if your cable is an issue....course having it work before an upgrade makes that assumption suspect. If it's really an issue, you might try an HDMI dongle.

Hi.
thx for the suggestion. I will definitely give it a try with a hdmi to usb-c cable :)
