Hey all

I got a new iPad Pro tonight. 2018 version, 12.9. (My first time trying the larger iPad.)
I opened it and began setting it up by using the "bring it near another iOS device" option, which in this case was my ipad pro 10.5.
I set it up as new because I knew I wanted to put a beta profile on it so it matches my old iPad so I can use it's back up. I planned to do a full wipe then restore once it updated to iOS 13. I started the update at 5:30 and then we left for an event at my daughter's school. When we got home we put the kids home and I went to look at the iPad and it's STILL UPDATING. It's been 3 hours! When I try to press a button, it says "iPad will restart once update completes." The progress bar appears full!
I am at a loss here. I tried to hard reset it, but it wont reset. There is no way it should take this long. I have did this exact scenario with an iPad before and it takes a few minutes tops. How can I get it to finish? Or how can I reset it?
Thanks

My iPad Pro 11" is in the same position, it failed during the update of iOS 13.2 beta 2. What you can try is putting it into DFU mode (press volume up, volume down, then hold power for 5 or so seconds) and plug it into iTunes via cable to restore it that way.

Apple Restore Help

However, unfortunately mine gets an error when i try this so i have an Apple appointment tomorrow to get them to fix it.
