How many percent does the battery on the iPad Pro 9,7 normally go down in standby mode? I charged it up to 100% yesterday night and I have not used it - now it is down to 96% in one day of standby mode. Is that normal?

Sounds about right. A few percent per day is in the right ballpark as that would give the rated ~30 days of standby.
I agree. Historically I've seen 2-3% loss overnight so 4% isn't out of line.

Then again, that extra 1% might be caused by the hissing sound. ;)

Our new iPads (Pro 9.7) drain faster than the 3-4 year old iPad 3, 4 and Air models we have at home.

Given the smaller battery, I guess it's understandable. Still kinda sucks when the supposedly degraded batteries on the iPad 3, 4 and Air has the new model with fresh battery beat when it comes to standby hours.

Got an iPad Pro 9.7 last night and went to bed around 1am. By 10am the iPad was still on 100% after 9 hours in standby.

I haven't seen any issues. Currently at 95% with 1 hr 4 min of usage and 8 hr 6 min of standby. I should note that I thought my standby was poor earlier in the month so I did a DFU restore and put my iCloud backup back on it. Seems to have fixed any issues.

Has anyone done a test were you fully charge the iPad, turn off wifi and just let it standby for 4-7 days?

What is the battery reading afterwards?
