iPad Pro gaming performance and longevity

I have a few questions so can you please answer them
I ordered my iPad pro on Black Friday and got a discount so it was only £100 more than an iPad Air 2 so IMO it was worth it. Plus I am a student so an iPad with a screen big enough for documents would be great.
1) will the iPad pro last me 2 years when it comes to intensive 3D gaming judging by the current titles on the Store?
2) Can anyone test GFXBENCH Manhattan for me please, Manhattan database says it scored 35FPS where's ExpertReviews got 54FPS (both onscreen tests)
3) how much heavier will it be to hold than my 3 year old iPad 3 which I am upgrading from,P
4) Do you think the Air 3 will have an A9X chip?

Still waiting as the 128GB space grey is out of stock, hence why I am asking

Air 1 was based on 5s, Air 2 was based on 6/6 Plus, Air 3 will probably be around the 6s performance-wise.
