So I can get a great deal today on a 1TB 12.9" M2 iPad Pro. I currently am using an M1. I can't use the M4 probably because of the PWM. It causes immediate eye strain and migraines. So I was looking at what might come out in 2025 - looks like no change to the OLED display. So I am wondering if I should snatch up this deal for the M2 because it might be the newest one that I can get - if they don't fix the flickering..... What do you all think?

I am an artist, hopefully getting back into the thick of things after having some health issues the past few years. Last year I did get the 11 M2 Air, after trying the M4. I didn't have an 11", a bit more portable and definitely lighter than the bigger one. I really like using it without the folio case when I am drawing.

I may just purchase the M2 iPP and see if it makes any difference.

It sounds like your best options are to get M2 Ipad Pro now, or wait and get the 2025 Ipad Air. Based on what you've told us, I think the M2 Ipad Pro is the way to go.

M2 will be fine - it still has Apple Pencil Hover like the M2 Air. The only difference will be that it's a chonker compared to the M4, and it only uses the Pencil 2, not the Pencil Pro, so you'll need two Pencils.

well I am in trouble if I only need 2 pencils.... I currently have 5 or 6 LOL. I do like the hover. I haven't figured out the barrel roll on the 2024 Air....
