iPad pro in place of Wacom Intros tablet?

I know iPad Pro can be used in place of a Wacom Cintiq already, but i was wondering if it can also be used in place of a Wacom Intuos?

Wacom Intuos Pro /w pen are on sale at $230 vs. a $900 iPP + pen
I can see the appeal for serious artists using iPP for many hours everyday. But if one only occassionly sketches for 15 to 20 minutes a day, wondering if the Wacom with an existing MBP would be a better buy?

How many out there are really serious artists? How many are just kidding themselves?
