I have an iPad Pro M1. I used to be able to get full display support but I can only get mirroring now. Is external display supported removed in 16.1 RC?
 
Yes, it has been removed. Apple decided to add the external display support for stage manager in a further iPadOS update “later this year”, possibly in iPadOS 16.2.
