Sometimes the shortcut „control+cmd+q“ (to lock the iPP) works fine, but not all time. Then i press the hardware-button at the iPP. What is the problem with the Magic Keyboard? :(

Happens on smart keyboard and any other external keyboard i tested too. Its a bit finicky. Most of the time it works, sometimes it just doesn't. I think its more of an OS issue

That’s really weird. I didn’t know about this shortcut and just tried it. I got it to work one time, but no more after that.

Fantastic shortcut that works nearly all the time for me. There is the odd occasion it doesn’t for some reason. I haven’t been able to work out the behaviour that causes it not to work.

Happens to me as well. I’ve found that after the iPad is put to sleep by the button, it starts working again. No need to take the iPad off the Magic Keyboard.

I found how trigger it and how to fix it manually. I think Apple will fix it.
How trigger it:(:
When you use the hardware power button to active iPP than use screen slide up to unlock the screen, it will happened.

How to fix it manually:):
1. Use hardware power button to lock the screen;
2. Unlock the screen and not use the hardware power button (use screen or Magic Keyboard).

Thanks for your solution! Half of a year passed away, and Apple has done nothing to it……
