I figured since the iPad Pro was going to be a merging of MacBook and iPad, that we would see the all powerful USB-C in it, but alas, no. Why not? Did anyone think we'd see USB-C on this device? It's virtually just as small as lighting, but with much more capabilities. So why didn't it make an appearance on the iPad Pro?

I still think usb-c will be limited to laptops and desktops and lightning will remain on the iOS devices. It's a smaller port and Apple probably has more control over its functionality as they are not wedded to the usb standards.
