I want to use it bare. But I also want to put it on something while using it on a table.

Wow! That is impressive. I know it seems expensive, but if it were a substitute for the Apple iPad Pro cover and back I guess you'd already be over the sticker shock. Wonder how the iPP is held upon an angle?
