I saw a forum post on a foreign forum that 32 and 128gb versions of iPad Pro has different write/read speeds, 128 being significantly faster. I don't own one, so I am asking for someone to test this if it's the case for every device. He says the benchmark app is old (last updated in 2012) but still, it shows 128gb faster.

I use the phone doctor plus app which gave over 500MB/s writes and over 1000MB/s reads on the 128GB version. Similar was found with the iPhone 6S plus, so yes the 128GB is faster. This is also true of SSDs where the larger the size they are often faster too.

All well and good but you won't notice any real world performance change between the two
