iPad-Pro vs. LCD projector?

Hi,

is there a way to attach a HDMI cable to it?
And what resolution could you actually run through it?

I was thinking about its uses in tech-meetings, where you sometimes want to draw something for everybody to see.
A 4K smart-board is around 20k here, so this thing and a hi-res LCD projector may be an interesting alternative.

Lightning to HDMI cable. I prefer to AirPlay mirror to an Apple TV however. No idea what Rez you can get off of it but I imagine 1080P should be sufficient.
