iPad Pro iPad Pro with 16inch MBP 2019 sidecar display is very dim?

Hi, I'm using iPad Pro 2020 version with sidecar and now when it connects it seems like it has a very dim filter on top of it so that the picture seems always to be very dark? I can see the image below and the display extended...but it just really hard to see, and the strange thing is that the mouse seems to be the same brightness as normal, just the underlying image? Has anyone come across this? I have the latest versions of software. and yes the brightness is to full.

Any help is much appreciated!
