Hi All,

Over the past few months I have been trying to use my 11” iPad Pro as my primary computer. For most tasks it is fine although I had to get accustomed to a different workflow for some apps. My main problem has been the inconsistent performance of my Bluetooth keyboard.

Sometimes when typing text a yellow frame appears around either the entire screen or portions of the screen. When this happens my keyboard starts to act strangely. Sometimes the spacebar won’t work, sometimes the the cursor keys won’t work. For example, if I need to correct a word I have to delete the entire text from the cursor to the spot I need to correct and retype it. Using the cursor to move backwards simply does not work. Most times if I touch the screen it will place the cursor properly.

I frequently run into this problem when using the Gmail app or Gmail on the web in the Safari app.

Can someone please explain to me the purpose of the yellow frame and why it makes the keyboard act so oddly. Thanks.
