Ok so I have the iPad 1 it's on 5.1.1 and it's jailbroken on absinthe. My problem is whenever I try and put a theme on, the wallpaper shows up but the icons remain the default apple icons. I've tried toggling summer board and it only made the wallpaper larger. Any help would be great.

The theme has not been updated for 5.x.x firmware.
There are literally thousands of older, abandoned by the developer themes still in Cydia.
You have to read the change log or get more current themes on Modmyi
