I was thinking of get iPad mini 2 with 32gb or should i get the iPad air but if i get a iPad with A7 would i get to run the metal programming flame work on the iPad?

I try to make my mind up what one to get:)

The Air has stronger hardware and will be a better performer. The ONLY reason to get the mini would be if portability was a big concern for you. The Air is a more powerful tablet so if running certain apps is important to you then the Air is the right choice, IMO.

Thanks

is the iPad air 1 then same as iPad air 2?

And if i am right metal will run on a7 is i am right?:)

No, the Air 2 has more RAM, a different screen coating, Touch ID, and is a little thinner and lighter. It also has the A9 chip versus the A8 in the Air. In day to day use though, there really isn't a huge difference for most users.

The extra RAM is the biggest upgrade between the two, IMO.

Would the iPad air 2 16gb good for testing your app out or is that to small of space?
