Hi all. First post here. I work for a school district and started doing all the iPad repairs a few months ago. Needless to say they break a lot.
I've gotten my repair time down to about 40 mins on iPad 2's and 3's. I was wondering how quick some of you guys can do one?
Also I've been playing around with new way of removing the broken digitizer that doesn't require a heat. I use goo be gone to strip all the adhesive off the aluminum and then come back behind with alcohol to have a clean seal. So for kicks I tried doing a repair by applying the goo be gone around the the digitizer and letting it soak for a little bit and then coming back with my normal tools and had amazing luck. The only down side was it effected the adhesive for the plastic bezel as well. Anyways thought I'd throw that out there for discussion.
