iPad ipad restore

I am up to here with this Ipad.I have an ipad 1 gen. I jailbroke it with version 3.2.2 and I want to wipe it clean updating it to the latest version using itunes and it also gives me an error. error 1394 what can I do now all I want to do is use it normally what other program can I use. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Download TinyUmbrella

Open it and go to advanced tab, UNcheck Set Host to Cydia, now close TU and restart computer.

You should now be able to restore in itunes to 5.1.1

can I now downgrade to 5.0 to try to jailbreak it? or should I wait for the jailbreak 5.1.1 to come out?

no, as you don't have SHSH/APTicket for 5.0/5.01/5.1 you can't downgrade.

You can however use redsn0w for a tethered Jailbreak.

First make sure you ave your SHSH/APticket for 5.1.1 with TU.
Connect iPad, open TU, in the main screen select save SHSH.

In future you can downgrade to 5.1.1 if necessary.
