iPad mini iPad rMini does not wake up from sleep

Has anyone faced issues with the iPad not waking up from sleep / unresponsive to the home or power button and refuses to power up the display? It has happened to me twice already today and I had to reset the device both times to make it work again. I have had it for a month now and this is the first day I am seeing something like this.

i have not, id take it to the apple store and get it checked out
