So running an iPhone app on the retina iPads gives you the option of running it regular-size in the middle of the screen, or pressing the "2X" button and scaling the app up to fulll screen.

My question is; when running an app made for iPhone 6+, does the iPad now run this app at proper iPhone 6+ resolution (1080p) in the middle of the screen? Or is the iPhone size built-in to whatever size it always was?

I am needing to video a trailer for a new app, but don't have a 6+ to video. My friend has an iPad I can borrow, but would like to check it will run the app at 1080p first so I know it will look sexy.

Does anyone with a retina iPad wanna try downloading an app that's optimized for 6/6+ and see if it can be run in "3x" mode? This is something that will really affect a purchase decision later this year as well, so I genuinely appreciate your help!
