Off to a Genius Bar I go.iPad 12.9 still under warranty. What has been you experience @ Genius Bar.
Will they replace it if they have it in stock and or if they are going to Depot it.

Display is shot. It's dim to dark. I can hear it making sounds when I connected cable or do the force power down, etc.

If they are going to Depot it in all cases, I might skip the in person Genius Bar visit.

“Genius” bar doesn’t do much these days outside maybe a phone screen replacement. Most iPads are sent back to Apple and you get a refurbished unit at some point.

It's been a loooooong time I've been at one for a handheld device.

For laptops. I always go to the bar as I prefer I want in-house repairs.....I've never had a good experience with Depot repairs. I'll ask the tech if for a in house repair. May take longer but it's my preferred route with laptops.

The last time on a handheld was a iPhone and that was maybe 7-8 years ago. They replaced it right on the spot.
