So I have this faint vertical line on my 2nd new iPad Pro 12.9 M2. I notice it when I get lots of fingerprints. When I buff the screen with the microfiber it completely goes away then comes back again later when the screen gets dirty. . The line is 100% straight.

Anyone else have this issue? What should I do, keep it? It is the 2nd one. Sucks because I got a really good panel.

Thanks.

If it goes away when you clean it, it sounds more like a scratch. Do you feel it when you touch it?
On another note, does your display have the smearing issue?

100% not a scratch. It is perfectly vertical top to bottom and this is the second unit that has had it. No smearing issue.

Can not feel it.

Best thing to do: take it back, return it and buy a new one so you keep the 14 day return window. You will always see that line, no matter what.

Do you keep it in a Magic Keyboard or a case? My Magic Keyboard leaves a line imprint (it is from the line between the trackpad and the keys), but it rubs away.
