iPad search issues on safari

Hey guys,

Occasionally on my new iPad when I go to some website from the search bar it will take me to the Google search page instead, and then I have to type it on that search bar. Other times however, the websites work fine. Does anyone else have this issue? I was thinking it could be a virus, but then again - its pretty damn hard for an iPad to get a virus in the first place.

That would be an awfully lame virus, don't you think?

There is a search bar and the address bar side by side. You're sure you're not typing in the wrong one by mistake sometimes, aren't you?

Barring that, sometimes the search better anticipates exactly what you're searching for. If there are numerous possible results, it goes to Google. Maybe it goes straight to the website if it thinks it's guessed correctly?
