iPad sim and facetime?

I doubt it.
Facetime right now is tied up to your phone number so a microsim with no number from a data only plan from an ipad wont do it.
Down the road it will also be available to be connected to email address so Ipad and ipod touch owners can join facetime.

But my iPad micro sim has a number ,it has been provided by AT&T , the number is for data only no voice , but will it still work even though face time does not use voice minutes??
I dont think its setup to be used and tied into facetime though.
Also facetime does not use minutes. You dont have to call the person first. You can just initiate a facetime request thru contacts.
