iPad Slow To Recharge?

Anyone else experienced this? Has been plugged into the mains now for an hour and only had 2% increase in battery?

That will be because you've plugged into a power charger which is not giving 1Amp current...

Most USB charges only give out 500 mili Amps.

If you have a charger which can give out 1Amp then the USB to iPad cable much also have the wiring so that the iPad can tell the USB charger to do it.. This should be a standard cable, but if it's a third party cable you might want to change it.
