Does this exist? A speaker that increases the volume that doubles as a portable charger? This would be useful for parties/camping.

Not exactly same, but killer nonetheless: the logitech z515
Bluetooth and USB wireless
Cordless rechargeable
Gets loud with 2 drivers

I have used it for 3 months of hotel presentation and it never ceases to amaze me....great product.

I rather spend the $180 as the Jawbone has far better sound quality then the Logitech.

My wife bought me the Z515's not too long ago, and I have to agree that they are great little speakers. I use them all the time with my iPad, my iPhone and my MBP. In my opinion, they sound great when watching movies and listening to music. They suit my needs, for sure.
