hey peeps!

I was wondering why spotlight keeps a preview of very old and deleted emails?

For instance, if I delete an email from John Smith permanentely, and if I tip John in Spotlight, it automatically shows me all emails received from John Smith even if they have been deleted and removed from the trash....why is that and is there a way to clean this? Otherwise my iPad keeps wasting some memory space, same thing for my iPhone?

You can turn off email for Spotlight or not worry about it. The space it is taking is probably under the reserve for the system.

actually, I do use spotlight to search through emails, but I really do not need to search through the ones I deleted, therefore, I would like to understand why it keeps memory of those emails,

but thanks for your help!
