This morning I changed the root password and now the iPad is stuck in the startup mode where the apple icon is showing only. How can I get it to boot up?

I have an iPad 1, running iOs 5.1.1 jailbroken with RedSn0w. I have mobile terminal installed and a handful of telesphoreo utilities installed for my unix developing work.

Thank you for the replies.

It will not boot into safe mode. It will not boot at all past the apple logo. Do I really need to start over or can redsn0w feasibly fix this issue?

Do either of you or anyone else who might be reading have experience with this issue? I for one have never heard of this particular one myself.
I have a mac and tried remoting in from the command terminal. Is there a solution there? I do not have openssh on the ipad however.

Doing some research, I believe now the culprit is a Siri app I tried to install from Cydia. I uninstalled it and then... This.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your input so far.

Changing the root password wouldn't bring you to be stuck at the apple logo

Siri apps/ports are known to modify system files (which can render your device to the state yours is in right now)

You are correct. Are you aware of any solutions?

I am rejailbreaking. Untethered didn't work so I am trying teathered. If it works, any suggestions?
