Hello all! I'm here to bring you a quick little review and unboxing of Hard Candy Cases' new iPad Stylus.

I was curious as to why anyone would want/need a stylus for their iDevice, but after thinking about it some more there are a group of people that could and do use this niche product. Take my mother, for example. She has an iPhone 4 inside a clutch folio with credit cards, etc. The iPhone is recessed inside the leather case and she has trouble with contact at the edge of the screen. We purchased a styles for her and she loves it. Also, iPad artists could use the styles, as it's much easier to hold a "tablet-like pen" instead of using your finger. Maybe that's what they used for the cover of The New Yorker.

Anyhow, the style is unique in a way because it incorporates an ink pen on the other side of it's symmetrical design. The design is very Apple-ish which makes for an attractive iPad/iPhone accessory. The only downfall to the design is that there is no clip, which could allow it to roll right off your desk.

All and all, the styles is an attractive addition to your iDevice, particularly corporate customers. At $34.94 it's a little pricey, but the price is in line with other similar accessories.

Not sure that people that use their phone for their daily lives would even use a stylus, I feel as if it would be more of a pain to pull out of your pocket to use. As you said, it would be good for business professionals. A little off topic, just outta curiosity, what case is on the iPhone 4? Good review btw.

Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, I agree that it is a niche market, but there are people out there that use one. Also the case on the iPhone 4 would be a white InCase Slider. (I've done through a half-dozen cases and that one feels the best to me right now)
