hi there,

I do have a iPad 3 (retina) with the iOS 7.xx The old iOS is because of the performance ...
2 days ago the iPad turned suddenly black (a blue screen appeared and then it turned black ..)
I tried to put the iPad in DFU mode (worked) and restore it ... But it's not able to restore ... :( it shows always the message 4005. I tried to restore the system on 3 different osx systems ...

One person in the internet wrote that the problem is due the "battery" or something like that. I need to open it, unplug the battery wait 1 - 2 minutes and plug it in again and it should work ...
So guys do you have any other idea how to solve that problem? Maybe with an old "jailbreak" tool?

Thanks for your help!
esudio :)

4005 is an unknown error. Your best bet is to actually go into an Apple Store. The battery wouldn't cause a 4005

ok I see ... but if I go to "apple" I guess they will say "you can to a 1 to 1 swap for xxx € ..." :(
I saw in the internet it could be because of a "low/fault" battery ... :-/
