iPad Sync - The required file cannot be found

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Apple so still learning, but happy so far.
I am having a problem syncing photos to my iPad 2 (IOS 4.3.3). Since updating the software to 4.3.3 when I sync the iPad I get the message -
"iPad cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found."

I have managed to narrow it down to the photos. I am syncing with my iMac OSX 10.6.8.

I have been to the Apple support website and it tells me to quit iTunes and iPhoto and then to delete my iPhone photo library. Can someone tell where to find that please.

Is this a problem others are having? All was OK with the previous IOS.
