iPad synching question

Apologies if this has been touched on before (I'm sure it has)...

I have several movies (purchased blu-rays that came with digital downloads) on my iPad that I would like to delete off my desktop if possible. My concern is that if I delete them off my desktop the next time I sync my iPad they will be deleted off there as well. Is this the case?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you delete them off your computer, and they'll get deleted off your iPad. That's what "sync" means -- your iPad stays the same as your computer.
