iPad Teleprompter Stand

Hi all, I have an iPad 2 that I want to use for a teleprompter, all the stands are $400+ on Amazon so I must be doing my search wrong. The stand shouldn't cost that much with the lens to view the content. Any ideas?

What's too much?

Video gear (even at the low end) isn't exactly cheap, and more often than not you get what you pay for.

Something like this might even be a good DIY project if you're trying to stay ultra-low budget and don't care about looks.
