IPad tethering: is mywi the only option?

I have planet up and running, but can't get iPad tethered via that app...just wondering if there was an option besides mywi...

I tried MyWi yesterday and it worked like a charm. I'm glad i have it. I was thinking about getting the 3G version of the iPad if MyWi didn't work but now i don't have to.

The only reason why i may get a 3G version is to use it in the car as a gps if i can somehow rig it for my car. Still debating about that.
