Hi
Just got my new iPad from NYC. Does anyone know if it's possible to use a windows mobile cellphone to get internetaccess on iPad (tethering)? I've done it several times with different phones to my windows laptops via bluetooth, but don't know if this is possible with iPad.

You can't tether via USB or Bluetooth, the phone needs to be capable of sharing it's connection via WiFi.

I use my htc touch pro 2 for this but you need a program called WMwifirouter They have a free trial to make sure it works with your phone. I ended up buying it but be aware that it eats up your battery pretty quick.

Thanks for your answers. HTC HD2 has the option to work as a WIFI router, so with my HD2 this isn't a problem, but my wife has an old HTC Touch Cruise which don't have this option. Probably I can use the program you suggested.
