iPad to projector

I need to project my iPad screen to screen using projector. What's the cable required for this ? VGA connector ? please provide me a link for the cable to procure.

Somebody told me only iPad2 will be able to project screen to projector, is it true ? If i get iPad2 and this VGA cable, can I demo my application to customer using Projector ?

Can I do same with iPhone also ?

a vga adapter for ipad2 sold at best buy and a std computer VGA radio shack cable will work fine - I do it every day. You also can buy a hdmi adapter which has the added benefit of allowing the pad to be charged at the same time.

The ipad2 completely projects everything on the ipad...the ipad1 and iphone only certain programs (not internet)

yes that's the one and you need a std vga cable like one that hooks desktop to computer monitor

yes hdmi is another way to go if your projector takes hdmi

get the adapter you show and show it to a best buy staffer - he'll know...
