I have been looking for a cable that goes directly from my iPad to my tv, can't seem to find much. The apply tv wont work for me because I don't have Internet. Thus I just need a cable to bypass wifi. Thank you

Yes, go with the Apple cable. It is expensive, but it charges the device at the same time. THey have composite and component, so make sure you order the right one.

$50 for component cables but I would just spend $99 on apple TV to stream media to a tv

watch tv on iPad

theres this product called HOMEFREE that is iPad compatible and lets you watch digital tv on your iPad, wireless. But you do need a rounter (it will work even if you dont have internet tho). You can search youtube, there are some videos that show you how the products works.

Just to clarify, would the component cable allow me to play all movies from "videos"? I tried with the VGA cable I have for projector and although it played the "TV shows" it would not play the "movies", all of which were purchased from iTunes.
