Have had my iPad since July, never any trouble with dropping wifi signal or anything. Until 30 minutes ago. Have restored to factory settings and put the latest back up back on. It finds my home network and logs in when I turn wifi on in system prefs, the wifi bars appear at the top, but it is just not connecting to the internet

Tried the 'forget network' option and put network name and pw in again. Same thing.

What else could I try?

Thank you for reading.

EDIT: just seen that once it has apparently connected and I then look at the settings of my home network in system prefs, it shows an IP address and subnet mask, but no router or DNS. Should it be this way?
