I switched to the S5 a month or two ago and am finding that I am not reaching for my iPad as much anymore as the 5 inch screen seems fine. Anyone else experiencino this?

Same here. I can't remember the last time I've used my iPad Mini Retina. I really need to stop buying tablets as I never use them that long.

Have the Note 3 and my iPad has been relegated to work stuff when I can actually complete any on it.

Hence, why I am selling it in the marketplace on these here forums. :D

I still use my rMini, even though my Icon is nicely sized. It does some things better and I don't mind using it :)

I still use my iPad. Still favor it over my 5" phone for leisurely browsing the web, watching videos, and reading articles. But I only use it at home. I can see myself just buying cheap Android or Windows tablets or 2 year old iPads from now on.

No, i have a S5 and iPad air. 5" v 10" doesn't compare.

My iPad either sits on my bedside or in a bag until I need it for something. I generally prefer a proper computer for most things.

Even when I was using a Note, I still prefer to do most activities on my iPad Mini, especially video, web browsing, or any type of gaming. A 5"+ screen is certainly better 4" but still dramatically worse than 7.9". Heck, I ultimately dumped the Nexus 7 because I still found the display size/ratio less than ideal.

When I leave the house, unless I'm active, the rMini is usually with me.
