Back when the Lightning to hdmi adaptor came out...(a long time ago;) I couldn't play Netflix through the HDMI port in my car. I just tested it again today and now it works. Is this a fluke or did something change in the digital rights? And if so, does anyone know when that was? Originally I could only play videos I owned through apple in my car. I'm so thrilled that it is working though. This certainly opens up the options of things my kids can steam in the car with binge on my t mobile iPad on long drives!

It was apparently some bug that was introduced back in 2013 when the Netflix app was updated to support Airplay.

I am guessing that somewhere along the line, Netflix rolled out an update that fixed this issue, but no idea when that was.
